It is not a surprise that the death certificate is unhelpful. I have found that most, if not all, of the information on the death certificates I have obtained from US cities, counties, etc. have errors or blanks. Not so the Dutch! Hopefully, the first name you have is correct--it will make things easier for you. By the way, with the LDS microfilm, I suggest starting with the 10-year index covering the year you believe Isaac was born (Tien jarige tafels, or something like that). The 1-year indexes will help you zero in on a little more, but if you are wrong about the date of birth you will have to check multiple rolls. You can find the film numbers by going to the LDS website, familysearch.org, and clicking on the "Library" tab and selecting the Library Catalog. You then can search for the city of Amsterdam.
