John Jason "Jackson" Barnhill lead a group from Columbia NC & Horry Co SC Area to Southeastern Alabama around 1830.Josiah Ensor was suppose to be with the group. John Jason "Jackson"'s wife's name was Emiline "Emily" Goodson.She was said to have been married before. He did not have a son named Pharoah. He resided at Troy, Pike Co, AL, but was also in Jefferson Co AL,and around Blackman, Fl , and is supposed to be buried in Eufaula AL. Related families are SASSER, PUGH, ADKISON, STEELE, FISHER, GRIFFIN plus many more.
