IMHO, a jpg is more visible than a text story.

There are several programs you can use to create the jpg and watermark - I like Universal Document Converter from http://www.print-driver.com/

Sample attached. I use a pale silver color watermark right across the face - everything is still readable, but it would be considerable work to use without the watermark.
