Dear Mr. Morrissey:

My name is Adair Burton Chew I am the son of Burton Adair Chew who was the last of 14 children of John Joyle Chew from Vernal, Utah. My great grandfather William Chew pioneered the Vernal area in 1853 and arrived with the Mormon wagon trains. They were sheep farmers origninally in Sabden, Lancashire, England. They have been for over 150 years sheep rancers in Utah. My Anunt Enola Chew (decdeased) did a tremendous amount of geneacological work on our family using the Mormon geneology computer banks in Salt Lake, City, Utah and was able coupled with trips to England corroberate ancestry to Obidiah Chew in 1100 in Sabden area, Lancashire, England
