The Citizen, that was based in Estancia, quit publishing several years ago. The Independent is a relatively new paper. The Telegraph merged with the Journal and is officially the Mountain View Telegraph.

Usually you can google a name with the obituary and the Journal's obit will show up in the results. This works as far back as 2002.
