Hello Stan & Charles, I think I may have a few pieces of the Lemuel Churchill puzzle to help you. First, I have the new Malcolm Churchill book about our branch of Franklin Co., VT Churchills. Also I have the 1908 Genealogy and Biography of the Churchill family in America by Samuel Joseph Churchill. Both of these books have info about Lemuel and family and lastly, I am descended from Louisa Churchill who moved with her husband Charles Ward, from Franklin Co., VT to Joliet, IL in 1854. He had a very successful planing mill there and many of Louisa's extended family came out to help them run it soon afterwards. I have all sorts of interesting info regarding this family going farther back.

So, although I've read the messages you all have been sending back and forth on the site, please send me all the basic info you have on Lemuel and sons so that I can be sure that I have the right one!

Please feel free to email me directly if you want.

Sincerely, Susan Michaelis

Thank you Jean. The 11 Churchills you have listed are my Aunts and Uncles. Robert and Anna Duncan are my grandparents. Do you have additional information on the family or maybe you are looking for something as well.
