Hi Richard, and I too apologize for my late reply to your message. The plot thickens in that I know of a Guinan in the Boston area who was related to a Hugh Guinan. I spoke with him quite a while back, and he thought we weren't related. But this Delia name pops up in my family, and I am sure if I dig a little further, we'll show some connection to the families. I'm a little inundated by life at the moment, but I will dig some old notes out shortly.

I just returned from Ireland for a month -- I swapped homes with a family and we stayed in Cork. We did take a road trip up to the Athlone area for a few days and met many Guinans - all of whom I believe there's a connection - this is in the South Roscommon/West Offaly area - near Shannonbridge/Clonmacnoise. Although I met some Guinans in Burr and Ferbane, I think my particular connection is in Moore Parish, near the Shannon River. Did meet a gentleman, Thomas Guinan, who I believe is related to me.
