We are looking for the Patrick Thomas Brown & wife Jane Watson Family. They appear in the 1861 Census for Ross Twnshp Renfrew Co three sons are listed in their 20s-John, James, and Frances. Patrick and Jane had other siblings-Robert, Catherine, Sarah, and a son William James Brown and wife Nancy Blair with 7 children living next door in that same census. We are looking for the sons in that census.
Could the John Brown husband to Charlotte Childerhouse be the John Brown in that census or could he be the son of our James in that census? You are showing Ann Brown as Charlotte's mother-in-law. The location is right, the dates are similar, what do you think....
