I am a descendant of William Duggan, brother of your John. My information shows three sons of John I, - William, Thomas, and John. In your John's will he names his children the same as you listed in your message, except he did not list a son Thomas or a son Mark. Also, I have seen in some genealogies posted on the internet that they have Mark as a son of John I and brother to William, John II, and Thomas without any documentation. Since I am sure that is not correct, could you send me the source you used to show Mark as a son of John II? The only mention I have found of Mark Duggan was that he bought some land in N.C. I have nothing to show he was connected with the Duggans in Bertie or Tyrrell Cos. Also, where you found that John II had a son Thomas. All I know is he had a brother Thomas. Any help to clear this up for me will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
