What does anyone consider to be verified or done? I'd prefer to see an improvement to the site wherein there is some kind of checkbox for each fact that represents a persons life. It could be a very long time before a person could be considered wholly "verified" depending on how long it takes to gather proper documentation. A checkbox would be helpful so that each individual fact can be verified and a researcher knows that they can move away from that aspect of the hunt for facts.

For me, a "verified" fact would be a copy of provable documentation in *my* files. If I've got a copy of a birth certificate (or the family bible page, or the church record), then that birth information is "verified" and I can check off a box, and so on like that. You can't "verify" a death date based on an engraved headstone - there are too many engraving errors.

Just curious what others consider "verified".
