Follows is the ancestry.com response to the incident report/improvement I submitted:

We apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced regarding family tree invites. We have submitted your suggestions to our developers. Please understand that we receive a large volume of suggestions in our queue. Changes on Ancestry.com are posted firstly in the order of those which affect the greatest number of users, and thereafter in the order in which they are reported. This also depends on the employee resources. As the queue is quite large, there is no foreseeable timeframe as to if or when those changes will be made.

There may be some sort of interruption or blocking on the end of your family members’ Internet Service Provider. If you need assistance with this, please contact your Internet Service Provider. If your email program is not set to block the Notifications, you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider to ensure that they are not blocking the messages.
