I too have names on this list, but I found this list whie searching for the reason my DNA fingerprint test says I am significantly sephardic jewish, arabic, and kurdish, but my family tree is full of
English,
Irish, French,
German,
Dutch, and
Danish surnames. After doing some historical research I found that many sephardic jews and muslims who had converted to christianity were kicked out of Spain; some of which emigrated to these countries, changing their names and adopting new cultures. Thus erasing their past to aviod persecution. It is possible to have a non-spanish or middle eastern surname and be middle eastern, spanish and/ or jewish by blood.
