Thinking about whether anyone knew about David Gorman, it does not seem to have been hidden as he was listed on the certificate and he seems to have kept the name, adding Robertson. Also, a subsequent descendant was given the name David Gorman Robertson, though no one seems to have realised the signficance. The name Gregor was also passed down the generations.
