Christine,
As you might know I haven't yet tied my Lewis Hines (b. 22May1802) back into Joel Hines yet but I can give you one Outlaw connection with the Hines family...at least one I heven't seen posted here. This Lewis Hines, son of my Daniel Hines, married Nancy Winders. Lewis and Nancy had 9 children...one of which was Chloah Hines (b. 26Jan1846). Chloah married Jim Hardy. That marriage produced a daughter Charity Hardy. Charity Hardy married Daniel Outlaw. Charity and Daniel had 3 sons; Jim Ned, Gordon, and William Daniel, and a daughter Chloe Ann. Chloe Ann Outlaw married Ed Rouse. That marriage produced at least 2 daughters; Olive & Kattie. Olive Rouse married Walter Edgar Chambers, 21 years older than her. Walter Edgar Chambers was a son of Walter Raleigh Chambers and Lizzy Hines. Well Lizzy Hines was a daughter of Samuel Ivey Hines (son of Lewis Hines b. 22May1802). My charts show Olive as her own 2nd cousin because of this. I believe I saw another Outlaw link to the Hines family somewhere but I'll have to dig to find it. I am still researching children of Lewis Hines...there might be another link there...probably 50 years earlier though.
