Searching through the Barbour Collection of CT Town Vital Records Vol.#7, looking for Harriet Ford of Cornwall, Litchfield Cty., CT, I found these among listings taken from Cornwall records.

Ford, Chauncey, [twin with Chester, son of James D. and Hannah], b. Aug. 10, 1816. Vol.2 Pg. 14

Ford, James D., m. Hannah Baldwin, June 2, 1814, by Oliver Burnham, J.P. Witnesses: Benjamin Catlin & Anson Rogers. Vol.2 Pg.45

Ford, James, s. Oliver & Lydia, b. Nov 6, 1791 Vol.2 Pg.27

Ford, Oliver, of Cornwall, m. Lydia Curtice, (or Carter), of Sharon, Nov. 23, 1774, by Colton R. Smith Vol. LR3 Pg. 7 (At Rootsweb I found a tree giving Oliver as a son of Amos5 [Joseph4, William3, William2, William1] Ford and Sarah Bisbee, his 2nd wife.)

Barbour's Vol. 30, vital records of Norfolk, Litchfield Cty., CT lists

Ford, Chancey, mason, ae. 30, of Cornwall, m. Maria S. Camp, ae. 21, of Norfolk, Mar 28, 1848, by Rev. Joseph Eldredge, Vol. 2 Pg. 28, 29

Although I cannot yet prove relation to my gggrandmother I am assuming connection based on proximity. Harriet Ford Bailey bore her 3rd son, Chauncey, in Cornwall in 1848, just prior to moving her family to Norfolk.
