Yes, Samuel Forrest's will did list the names of six slaves that he bequeathed to his wife and two that he bequeathed to his nephew Samuel Yelverton. My copy of the will is not a good copy, so it is hard to read, but I will give you the names as best I can. Here is how the names are given.
TO HIS WIFE:
One woman by the name of Wineford, two boys Reuben and Moses(?), three girls Melifa(?) Mifau_i(?) and Violet.
TO SAMUEL YELVERTON:
Peter and Needham(?)
I don't know where you live, but if you can make the trip to the Haywood County courthouse in Brownsville, TN, you can look at the original will as it was registered in the will book. The names are probably more legible there.
