This is simply a logical suggestion that should markedly improve this (cough) "innovation" which we are now going to be subjected to. While "clunky" (IMHO) greatly understates this needless change (a techno-solution desperately looking for a problem), I doubt you'll see it implemented.

After all, if you can't see the logic in changing the patently ridiculous "default" selection that automatically designates any newly uploaded graphic as the profile "picture" where there is no prior designation, your suggestion will, more than likely, also fall upon deaf ears.
