Hi Rick
The Cafieros in my family emigrated in the mid 1880s. My grandfather, Steven C, was born in NYC in 1884. Apparently there was a rift of sorts between him and twin brothers, so we never knew them. He had a sister, Philomena Cafiero Guida who lived into her 90s. Grandpa lived to be 90 also. He was a naval architect and was well educated, which was amazing for those days. He was an odd sort of guy, eccentric, very bright and he read the NY Times every day, cover to cover, underlining what he thought was most important. (in his retirement).

I am an autism specialist train people who either have children with autism or are practitioners in that field. I love my work. I have 3 grown children, am single and life is very good for me. I am 62 years old. I have never been to Meta of Sorrento but have traveled and worked in Italy. Two of my 3 kids are fluent in Italian and lived there.

I am a passionate cook (no surprise being Italian), and have always been interested in my roots.

How are you?
Joanne
