Margery Maude, who came to America on the Submission in 1682 as a part of Wm Penn's "Holy Experiment", was married to Thomas Fisher who arrived on Penn's The Lamb one month earlier. While there is some scholarly debate as to whether Thomas, along with his father, John Fisher, mother, Margaret, and the rest of John's children: John, Jr., James, Rachel, Sarah, Alice & Annis were on The Welcome with Penn or on the Lamb, Margery Maude is listed on the passenger list for The Submission as well as accepted by The Welcome Society as a passenger.

Margery Maude was the daughter of Joshua Maude and Elizabeth Parr. Elizabeth Parr was also married subsequently to Thomas Wynne, Jr. of Wales.
