I received the post-it you put up re: Dunsair Murphy, but your e-mail address refused my response. So, in answer to your question, the reason I indicated that Dunsair Murphy had died prior to 1871 is because he was not in the census for that year or for any year following. However, there was a JOSEPH listed as a child in the family of George Edward and Eliza in 1871 who would have fallen into the right age slot for Dunsair. I do not know if this was simply an error in transcription, or whether Dunsair's middle name (or first) was Joseph, since there is no other child in the family by that name. Based on that, if Dunsair either possessed Joseph as part of his name or went by it, then he was alive as of 1871. However, by the time of the 1881 census and onward, I cannot find any Dunsair OR any Joseph that fits his age, etc. Hope this helps.
