Yes this is the Francis Segraves I am talking about. Our line is in Arkansas. We have family records tracing back to Gilbra Seegraves Sometimes referred to as Gilbert. I heard he was illiterate which may have led to the extra e. With the help of the Mormon site and a fellow named Galloway I have been able to put the pices together to trace back to Francis. I heard he was a Catholic and a captain in Ireland and fled to escape persecution. All his property in Ireland was confiscated. I wish I could have help to go back farther but I heard alot of records were destroyed.
