Surnames: Greaney/Grainey, Sullivan
My great great grandmother Margaret Grainey/Graney emigrated to Boston in 1850. She had married john C. sullivan in ireland in Feb 1850 in Kiskeam, St Mary's Parish. They left in Mar aboard the Parliament ship headed for Boston. Margaret Grainey/Graney County Cork, born Boherbue, Ireland in 1826, JOhn was born in Newmarket in 1919. John's brother, Edward also emigrated aboard the same ship, and I believe he married Margaret's sister, Catherine. They lost a baby at sea (named Joanna). Passenger records reflect this. Edward and Catherine returned to Ireland because of the l;oss of the baby, but John and Margaret stayed ib Boston and then New York, before ghing by covered wagon to St,. Anthony, MN about 1858. They settled in Fridley, MN about 1860.
