John and Lillian Cotter are Mary Beeler's parents. There is another Cotter family that settled in Prescott not related to this family closely. It is Thomas Cotter (1803 - 1875) and Bridget Sullivan (1805 - 1871) and their descendants. This is the family profiled in Mary Beeler and Dorothy Ahlgren's book on the History of Prescott, p. 423 - 424.
