William Polleys - Quesnelle Forks
William Polleys left Moncton, NB about 1876 and became invoved "in mining in Cariboo, BC on the North Fork of the Quesnelle - putting in a wing dam". (Moncton Times 3 June 1882)
BC Archives has a record of him as a director in the South Fork Hydraulic and Mining Company. He is also listed in the 1893 and 1895 Quesnelle Forks Directories.
His wife Isabella (nee Gibson) died at Moncton in 1907. She is not listed in the 1901 Census of New Brunswick.
