Wow, let me into this discussion:

My parents were William Manley (1907-1971) from Avoca Pa married Marion Quinnan from Pittston Pa. We lived in Buffalo NY where I was born (1931).

Paternal grandparents were Patrick Manley (1859-1919?) married Catherine Gilroy (possibly Kilroy: 1871-1919?) lived in Avoca Pa. There were 13 children. My father was number 12. Much of family migrated to Buffalo.

GGparents thought to be Edward Manley (d:1919?) wife Katherine (d:1919?).

Interesting refrerence to Sarah Lalley Manley in posting by cricketmelvin. I rember Lalley name being discussed while I was growing up but I don't know content or whether or not as a relative.

Has anybody more info on my GParents or GGParents. Especially interested in kin as well as migration details from Ireland.
