Hi Pat: Hezekiah Stout Denham/Dunham was born 1802, either Sept or Dec in Knoxville, Tennessee. However, the census record said both of his parents were from Virginia. Is this Virginia or West Virginia, I don't know. Could they have been traveling, or were Nancy's parents in Knoxville?? Do you have any kind of will or land exchange records that would indicate that my HSD was Abel's son? Also, if he had any older or younger, brothers or sisters? I heard that he had a brother, within a couple miles of walking distance in 1867, but it didn't indicate which direction or county. He would have been 65 years old at that time. He was a justice of peace for United Bretheran Church, a canner of pickles, a quilter, and a buttonhole and seamstress for doctors clothes. There is a famous Stout doctor, I believe his name was Dr. Benjamin Stout. Does this help in any way??Later, Rose LCD
