Isabella Johnston and Thomas Barton are my GGG grandparents...I have only been able to go back to Arthur and Elizabeth Paul so far.

Isabella and family also lived in the Richmond area of Quebec from the 1850's on.

My ggg grandmother paternal side was an Armstrong but I think from the border of Tyrone/Fermangh. (her death record said she was from Tyrone) I have a strong sense they are related or knew each other well.

There are a lot of inter-relationships in this area that are just one or two degrees of being connected. I am so glad to see this discussion! I'd be delighted to chat with anyone to further this branch!
