I can look on the census from 1890 for their names, but I read on your website that the Archdiocese of New Orleans does not wish to release Catholic records from the orphanage, but I was led to believe that only the Sisters in Wichita had records. So the Archdiocese of New Orleans has all the records for the St. Joseph girls orphanage?If they do, this may be another avenue for me to obtain my grandmother's records.I want to know why she was in an orphanage and who her parents were for sure.Thanks, bayoucher2
