Hi, Andie! I gather that you are related to Frank Luloff, Glady's father? My great-great grandmother, Friedricka Manteuffel Feltz was sister to Gladys's grandmother, Julia Manteuffel Beyer.

I wish I knew more about Gladys to help with the above search, but I don't; I didn't know until I found this thread that she was a musician. It sounds as though her married name was Hyde. In 1966, when Gladys's Uncle, Christian Beyer, died, a Homer D. Hyde petitioned for the settlement of his estate. Do you know, was that her husband? Christian died intestate and I'm trying to get the probate files... maybe there will be notes there that will give her death date. You don't happen to know what happened to Clara's parents, do you? I am guessing from what I've found that at least her mother, Julia, died before 1900 and her father, David, remarried, but I think Clara and Christian got sent back to relatives in Canada since that was where she married Frank in 1897. They had another brother, Ferdinand, too, and I lose him at about the same time.
