Could you please email me at csj0767@sbcglobal.net? I believe that somewhere in the line of Hughes that Thomas is going to connect with my Paul Hughes. Thomas in the St. Mary's church records is listed with my Paul Hughes and his wife Maria Louisa Fitzgerald in 1833. Paul and Maria had these children.
William b. 1822 in County Tipperary
Robert b. 1823
John b. 1825
Wellington b. 1826 twin
Anna Maria b. 1826 twin
Charles b. 1827
Henry b. 1827
All the rest born in Limerick City.
The following were born in Adelaide-Metcalfe
Adelaide b. 1833
John b. 1836 married Mary Jane Bowlby
Frederick b. 1839
Paul died on July 5 or 6, 1843. I lose Maria Louisa, John #1, Charles, Wellington and Adelaide (although I suspect she married a James Dodd)after Paul's death. There is also another William Hughes, Sophia Ashdowne and son William Hughes. I have them until their deaths. When I can find out who Pauls parents, siblings I may also connect them. I believe that they may be siblings, nephews or cousins. Paul was born in 1800. William (Sophia)was born in 1807-1815. I have all of Paul's land records until his death, with the exception of one I just recently found for Lower Canada. It is possible that Charles, John #1, Wellington may have settled that land. I look forward to hearing from you.
