I'm home now. I ran a few tests to see if I had my facts right before replying. In FTM 2012 I created marriage and military events and put data in the date, place, description, and note fields. I also had a lot of text in the Person notes. I uploaded using the Share tab. The text in the Fact note fields did not show up on the Ancestry tree. Only the date, place, and description fields uploaded for the facts. The person notes are viewable only by me on the "view note" icon.

Since my real tree had all those entries in the first place and the note fields weren't uploaded, I can't expect that the Android app would have them, but the member tree does show the person notes under the "view note" iceon. I think the Android app should be able to pull that down.

I have several other comments about why I use the notes field so much, but would prefer not to divert the discussion from the Android app in this forum. Please message me within ancestry or email me otherwise to continue.
