Hi Jennifer. I am looking for relatives of my great great GREAT grandfather and grandmother who came to Louisiana in 1881 with James Noone, and Alphonse Simon and Mary Bowers Ryder. They came into New Orleans and moved to Central Louisiana. I know their history from that point, coming stateside. But I am looking for their history in Ireland. John was born in Castlepollard,Co. Westmeath Ireland born on March 5, 1828, died in Louisiana March 3rd 1883. He married Maria Ryder, born in the same place May 2, 1832, died in Louisiana Sept. 26, 1898.

I am hoping someone knows something of their trail left in Ireland!! Maria's parents were Alphose Simon Ryder and Mary BOWERS Ryder.
