Leila, hi I have emailed you once before..I really think we are connected...just trying to find the one family member to connect the two families. You have written about Cornelius born 1822 at lissane.. and Timothy dennis McCarthy born at Coolboy and Florence born at Barnagowlane...what was their relationship to each other? cousins? we are related to the family at Barnagowlane and we(my relatives) are currently living at Coolboy and we have connections at lissane... i just have not been able to go back further than Julia McCarthy (1861 b) She was from Lackenafasoge (Lacka)She hadfive other siblings that we know of.We know that we are related but unsure if it is second generation or third to my grandfather. Do you have any more info on Cornelius McCarthy born 1822? do you know if any of these McCarthy's had siblings? i could email you the different parts of my tree(s) if you would not mind or ?? I am not sure what is easier? I think you hold the key to the connection that i need.We are just so close to the connection. I would appreciate any help.
