I whole-heartedly agree. IF FTM had the features I needed in a format that worked AND the sync feature with Ancestry.com weren't so unstable (now into 14 version of tree after link between FTM and Ancestry tree broken), I wouldn't care if all my data didn't go over to Gedcom in Places.

For now, I am shopping for another software. Any suggestions?
