Just to add to the story, my partner Terry Gibney was born in County Meath (probably Mullingar) in 1946. His parents were Tom Gibney also born in County Meath and Rita (Margaret) either Geraghty or McCormick. They moved with their 9 children first to Dublin and then to London in the 1950s. The parents and two younger children returned to Ireland in the 1960s. Tom is buried in Hill O' Down, county Meath I understand.
