Yes, I am always the administrator, I am the only user on the computer and I run it as an administrator. I have just called Ancestry.com and they helped me manually run the patch to update to the latest version. FTM now boots up. So after almost 6 hours I am back to where I started in that I now will attempt to upload for the 5th time my tree and then after changes are made, sync it. They guy on the phone seems to think the patch will fix the sync problems, we'll see.
