Thank you rjsaun. You have provided such a wealth of information that I am compelled to inquire further.
I am an African American whose gggrandfather was Bryant Sanders b.1820 NC, moved and married in Thomas County, GA and had a grandson named Plummer Saunders (note the name change that still exists between). Some of Bryant's children are listed as mullattos in one of the census which means that they may have been of Anglo or Native American descent.

All of this probably means nothing related to your posts, but I must ask if in your research, did you find any information regarding the slaves of any of your ancestors in NC or GA? I would be very interested and appreciative if you have information to provide.
