Surnames: Copeland
I am a direct descendant of William Copeland Sr. through Peter Copeland's son John T. Copeland who married Penelope Mosely. Their son Baldwin Copeland born in Georgia in 1828 and who owned a plantation in Stewart (Webster) County, Georgia, is my great-great grandfather. Has anyone come across information about this family? Thanks!
