Hey MC,

I see Daniel's ancestry as follows:

Grand Parents:
Humphrey Murphy (b.8/1839) at Kilquane
Mary Sullivan (b. Abt. 1845) at Kilquane
Married August 1859 at Rathmore Parish

Great-Grand Parents:
Patrick Murphy (b.abt. 1818) at Kilquane
Margaret Dalton (b. abt 1820) at Kilquane
Married in July 1828 at Killarney Parish

Patrick Sullivan (b. abt. 1825) at Kilq
Ellen O'Connor (b. abt 1825)

Great-Great Grandparents:

Jeremiah Murphy (B. abt. 1788) probably in County Cork
Margaret Buckley (B.abt. 1790)

John Dalton (b. abt. 1790)
Hannah O'Connor

I am also descended from this same line. Patrick Murphy had the nickname "Stiver" and was a blacksmith and worked at the Murphy Forge. The blacksmith Murphy's were known as the "Gow" Murphys. "Gow" being a translation for the Irish word for blacksmith. I hope this is helpful.
