Not sure if either of you are still checking this but my Pepere was there in the 1930's and he told horror stories of the same kinds of abuse. He would refer to the nuns as cruel and sick. The scars he received there changed him forever, it's heartbreaking. I'm currently working on a book about it, if you have any information I would be very grateful!
