I finally connected with the department that is housing the records for St.Joseph's Home for the Friendless records.

We are currently finishing up paperwork to finally get the records. Did not help husband's wallet was lost and needed to get new ID. They do want a notarized letter stating you are who you are. You have to request 'ALL' records or they will only send parts of the file.

I hope this helps anyone else out there looking for pieces of the family lives, their lives... It has taken me years to finally find this info. Once we finally get a copy of the records, I will update the thread.
