Just found your post. My Grandfather, Andrej Bole', was born in Kocah or Koce', Slovenia. We went there in 2008, and there are lots of Bole's there. We did talk to one man; but he did not know the relationship. and couldn't find his papers with his info. on them. He took us to see his Mother, who was a Bole', married to a Bole'; but she did not remember much. My friend, Mirka had spoken to her a few years prior, and she did remember my Aunt Marta coming over to settle her parents estate. Too bad that we did not get to talk to her at that time. If we had more time, we could have searched the Bishop's Archives in Ljubjana more thoroughly. So, I don't know if we are related or not. Bole' seems to be a common surname in Slovenia. Koce' is near the Italian border, and near Trieste.
