You are wonderful. I am looking for Richard Jordan and Dorah/Doreathea Hickey Jordan. I have them in Kenosha in 1842 through 1866. They are listed in 1850 and 1860 census as in Brighton. Dora died 24 May 1866 & is buried in St. Francies Xavier Cemetery. There is a land patent on 3 Mar 1843 in Racine County, WI to Richard. They sold off all the family land, livestock, everything when Richard got sick. They then migrated to Iowa. I am looking for Dora's obituary. Looking for parents and siblings. I'm looking for Richard's middle name. Their children were Peter, Mary, Stephen, Catharine, Cornelius, Michael, James, Richard (1846) and John. Richard is my gr,gr, gr, grandfather. I tried to go through Kenosha and another county in Wisconsin but no one was of much help for a death cert. Thank you so much for anything you can turn up.
