I dont know how true that is. They dont have American Indian samples so they will place them somewhere else. FTDNA gives many people in Mexico high % Finn/Russian/Swede and it is inaccurate. Mexico has high American Indian, more so than Spanish. This per Y and MT-DNA tests and actual records that are much more solid than % test. Mexico is not a place for high % of Finn/Russian/Swede and at the moment where most of the American Indian samples are from. They really should not issue studies using % tests since most people will read differently at each company they test with. Even with the % at gedmatch my family reads differently on ever test and we have documented AI
