Many thanks to those that have reponded.
There is kind of a strange situation with the affidavit I described. First of all it was a photo of the manuscript document, not a transcript, second, it was not in the Aaron HEWLET/HULET pension file available on the normal collection of microfilm found on-line and in most libraries.
This little scrap of paper was found in the "actual" Aaron HULET file folder by another researcher some twenty or more years after I had alredy gleaned all that I thought that I would from his pension file. Seems the film set at libraries is called the "Select" series of pension files.
Some NARA worker went through the file folders and made a decision regarding which documents they thought might have the most significance and that is what was filmed. As I understand it now there are likely many more pieces that one would have to ferret out themselves.
The affidavit mentioned was just a hadwritten note, not dated, and not with any location or court mentioned. It just stated that they were the sisters of Cynthia, and the daughters of Joseph HOKINS, and that Cynthia had indeed been married to Aaron HULET. I do have a copy of the Town of Foster, RI mariage record of Cynthia and Aaron.
I did attempt to look at all Joseph HOPKINS estate records, anywhere, but with out knowing where he lived when he died it is futile. The Rhode Island Genealogical Society and the Historical Society have published extracts of many early wills and estate records, but I have never found mention of my girls, anywhere.
My thoughts on posting the names and what facts that I do have on these people was that I might just locate a person that knows something specific about the PARKER, REYNOLDS & HULET girls.
Thanks again to all that are interested.
