Noble - John or William in Delaware

I am looking for more information on John or William Noble.

William Noble joined December 1776 under Enoch Anderson. I found the muster rolls and where he deserted April 1, 1777. I have no other information. Anyone have any idea on where I can look to find out the fate of William Noble. This is a common name and I do not have a birthday to determine age of William.

John Noble joined in April 1778 the Delaware group. He was born in 1762 and was in the hospital in June 1778. He stayed in Delaware when the Delaware troops went out of state recovering. October 1780 he went missing in action and I have read that he was captured and taken to Manhattan, New York where he was held as a prisoner until the end of the war. His file ends when he went missing in action and then he has his pension records in his file. Could someone point me in the direction on how to get any prisoner records associated with John while he was a prisoner?

I am looking for parent names for John Noble. I am hoping that maybe William is John's brother and it will lead us back one more generation.
