I know this is kind of random.

My mother was a Carnes before she got married. The Carnes line started when an Irish man by the name of Carnes ventured into Stinking Creek, KY and married one of the Patterson Girls. This wasn't very long after Daniel Boone crossed in Kentucky. I was wondering if anyone knew precisely when the Pattersons arrived.

For anyone with Creek connections I'm a descendant of the Carnes/Simpson line through Georgetta and Lee Roy Carnes.
