Since posting this, I have found that both Joseph and Jacob Ford have been documented as patriots via SAR. They are listed on the latest release of their Patriot index.
In case you are not aware of this website, www.footnote.com, they have all of the Revolutionary War pensions and bounty land warrants available online. I think it costs $7.95/month or $59.95/year and you can download everything. I love the site, it has much more than that and they have promised to start working on the Civil War widow's pension files soon.
