Classification: Query
Surnames: St. Clair, Pipkin, Pickard, Lee, Smith, Jones
I have my grandmother's (LaUna St. Clair) handwritten notes indicating "Louis Pipkin 2nd Lt - enlisted and drilled at Coffeyville, MS. Fought thru the 4 yrs of the war - at Atlanta received 14 bullet holes in his clothes but received no wounds. Received an honorable discharge at Richmond VA at the close of the war." Please let me know if you have any information on this person- not sure what relation he is to our family. Also are mentioned Pvt Joe J. Smith (married Lucy Ann Pickard), Capt Ompe (?) Lee and Roland Jones 1st Lt who became capt after Lee's death.
