Classification: Query
Supposedly Samuel White (March 16, 1758-October 21, 1841) served in the American Revolution at the Battle of Stoney Point on July 16, 1779 in New York.
He was possibly born in New Jersey?
Then he moved onto Farifield, Fairfiled County, Ohio
I did find a Samuel White in the Ancestry database for
"American Revolutionary War Rejected Pensions"
It stated
Samuel WHite
State of Ohio
Rejected Reason
Not on the New Jersey rolls-no proof of service- note j must be carried out
I think this is him and his pension was rejected.
Now though how can I find in the records of the Revolutionary War or did he possibly not really serve?
Thanks in advance
